By Demian McLean Oct. 8 (Bloomberg) - Two American journalists disappeared while on vacation in Lebanon, prompting appeals for help less than a week after the U.S. Embassy in Beirut warned citizens they risked being targeted in violent attacks.
Taylor Luck, 23, and Holli Chmela, 27, have been missing since Oct. 1, two days after they arrived from Jordan, according to the embassy. The Americans worked at the Jordan Times newspaper in Amman.
